On Friday, 5 October the Marriott Marquis in the heart of New York City buzzed with activity as women from billion dollar business empires and from around the world gathered for the “Women Who Are Shaping the World Leadership Summit” hosted by Essence Magazine.

Caymanian author of the upcoming book I’m Somebody’s Mama recently introduced her venture to professional trendsetters in New York City.
At the Women Who Are Shaping the World Leadership Summit, hosted by Essence Magazine, Catherine Tyson had the opportunity to network, introduce and share her new book with other women in the group.
“Valuable opportunities such as these are necessary for Caymanians share ideas with other women from other places,” said Ms Tyson.

Organiser Catherine Tyson is hoping to “pamper” and “motivate” women through the “Me in My Life” seminar scheduled for 5-7 December at the South Sound Civic Centre in Grand Cayman.
Ms Tyson said the motivational seminar weekend is aimed at local women and women visiting Grand Cayman for the fifth annual Cayman Jazz Fest, which runs from 4 to 6 December.
She said the “special” weekend has an outstanding line-up of featured activities, which will give participants a much-needed break.

The “Me in My Life” seminar was held at the South Sound Civic Centre in George Town earlier this month.
The 5-7 December women’s seminar helped both local and overseas participants to “pamper” and “motivate” themselves as the annual Jazz Fest was taking place in the Cayman Islands.
